Terms of service

Draft, to be reviewed. This is a plain-language placeholder written for a small service. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet and may change.

These terms cover your use of WhatsHive, including the dashboard, the API and anything you send through them. By using a WhatsHive workspace you agree to them.

1The service

WhatsHive lets your team link WhatsApp numbers, send and receive messages, run broadcasts and automations, and connect other systems through an API. Access is by request, and the features and limits of your workspace are agreed with you in writing when it is set up.

2Your account

You're responsible for the people you invite, for keeping passwords and API keys safe, and for what is sent from your workspace. Turn on two-factor sign-in and give teammates only the access they need.

3Acceptable use

You agree to:

  • Only message people who have agreed to hear from you, and honour opt-out requests such as STOP.
  • Not send spam, scams, illegal content, or anything that harasses or misleads people.
  • Follow WhatsApp's terms and policies and the laws that apply to you, including Indian law.
  • Not try to break, overload or get around the security or limits of the service.

We may pause or close a workspace that breaks these rules, where possible after telling you.

4WhatsApp and your numbers

WhatsHive connects to WhatsApp as a linked device and is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp can limit, restrict or ban any number at its own discretion. WhatsHive's pacing and limits reduce the risk but cannot guarantee a number won't be restricted, and we aren't responsible for actions WhatsApp takes.

5Access

Workspaces are invite-only. Anything specific to your workspace, such as the numbers, teammates and limits it covers, is agreed with you directly in writing. Where that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement wins.

6Your data

Your messages, contacts and settings belong to you. We only use them to provide the service, as described in the privacy notice. You can ask for an export or deletion at any time.

7Availability

We work hard to keep WhatsHive running, but it is provided as is, without a guaranteed uptime unless one is agreed in writing. We may change or improve features over time and will tell you in advance about changes that materially affect you.

8Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amounts, if any, paid to us in the three months before the claim.

9Ending the service

You can stop using WhatsHive at any time by telling us. We can end the service with reasonable notice, or straight away for serious misuse. After the end we delete workspace data as set out in the privacy notice.

10Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India. For anything about them, write to [email protected].
